Stanford University. He is the author of Romance and Reformation: The Erasmian Spirit of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure (Univ. of Delaware Press, 2000). His major articles have appeared in Shakespeare Studies, Medieval and Renaissance Drama in England, Cahiers Élisabéthaines, English Literary Renaissance, Modern Drama, Shakespeare and Renaissance Association of West Virginia: Selected Papers, and Modern Language Studies.
