Bernard Kaplan teaches fiction writing and courses in the novel, short story, and literature and opera. He has been at Delaware since 1978. He taught previously at Goddard College, Case Western Reserve University, The University of Southern Mississippi, and Arizona State University. He holds degress from Antioch, Yale, and Iowa and is the author of two collections of short stories, Prisoners of This World (Grossman) and Obituaries (Viking).
