In Sp08, Journalism became a minor in the College of Arts and Sciences, with its administrative home in English. Journalism is open to students from all majors. The Journalism minor at the University of Delaware is designed to provide an introduction to the possibilities of professional work in reporting, writing, and editing for newspapers, magazines, and other publications.

To enter the Jouralism Minor, students first enroll in JOUR301: Introduction to Journalism. See the Minor Requirements for for details (top left).

The old Concentration in Journalism (JOUR) stopped accepting students in Sp07. Students who began the Concentration will be able to finish, or they are welcome to apply to the minor. See the Concentration Checklist (top left) for the specific requirements to complete the Concentration.
