Transfer Instructions for courses other than ENGL 110

The English Department assigns a UD equivalent for English courses or for courses similar to those offered in the UD English Department (such as theater or film).

To establish equivalency for a course already transferred:
Bring or send to Prof. Peter Feng in the English Department ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) the following materials:

1) A photocopy of the course description in its official catalogue. Identify the university that offered the course. If it is available on-line, you can submit a print-out of this or send the link via e-mail.

2) A separate sheet (or provide the information in your e-mail message) with your name, student id number, local phone number, and e-mail address.

To arrange for transfer credit for a course not yet taken:
Before you take the course, contact the University of Delaware Transfer Center located in the Student Services Building. If the course you wish to take is not in the Matrix, someone there will give you the contact information of the appropriate person from whom to obtain approval.
