Quizzes just about every Friday beginning
6 September. Each quiz will consist of 5 questions, perhaps sometimes
with extra credit. After all the quizzes have been given, I will
throw the grading on a curve. Your lowest quiz score (or the quiz
you miss) will not be counted. You may make up one quiz during the
semester. The make-up will be an oral quiz given in my office and
with follow-up questions.

Hourly Exam
|
on Wednesday, October 16
during class time. Do not bring bluebooks to this, which will be
a combination of short-answer (quiz-type) questions and brief answer.

Creative project
|
due no later than Friday,
November 15 at class time. You may hand the project
in any time before that date.

|
Outside essay
|
due Friday, December 6 at
class time.
|
|
Final exam
|
at the regularly-scheduled
time according to the Registrar.
