Policy on Class Attendance
J. Dean / Fall 2002
I expect you to come to class every day. You get three
absences no questions asked. More than three unexcused absences
may lower your grade for class participation by a full grade or
more. Six absences or more may result in a
drop of a full grade or more in the course,
including failure in the course
if the absences warrant. I will use common sense in making
determinations about absences; but realize that my courses taught on the
Newark campus require good attendance and are not correspondence courses.
