The Communication Condition
Resolving a CC
Only the Writing Center can have a CC removed from a student's record. A clearance slip is issued by the Center when the student's Writing Center instructor concludes that the student has completed required work in a satisfactory manner. In rare instances, when the issuing professor has misunderstood the function of the CC or has reconsidered, he or she may request by letter that the CC be cleared by the Center.
Students must work on CCs on a continuous basis (except for legitimate interruptions: academic breaks and winter and summer sessions). If a student fails to maintain continuous attendance, he or she will be required to begin the procedure again.
