Campus Tutoring

We offer on-campus tutoring in 016 Memorial Hall. Click this link to view information about on-campus tutoring, the online appointment schedule site, and the tutor handbook.

Online Tutoring

We offer online tutoring through the Online Tutoring Center. Click this link to view training materials and other practice simulations, information about how to provide exceptional online tutoring, and information about how students can access and use the online tutoring.

Tipsheets

Take advantage of the tutoring tipsheets, or informational handouts, that we've provided by clicking this link. Tipsheets will either be provided by a Microsoft Word document or a .pdf file. For the .pdf files, if your computer doesn't already have it available, you'll need to download a free copy of Acrobat Reader (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html).

Writing Workshops

Writing Workshops are scheduled each semester to help you develop more effective tutoring strategies and to help you improve your on-campus and online tutoring. Click this link to view and register for workshops.

Writer's Showcase

The Writer's Showcase is a collection of student and faculty-written essays and reports in various disciplines and genres. Available only in .pdf format, these pieces of writing are examples of academically strong -- often powerful -- writing. Each author holds the copyright © to the piece and has volunteered to make it available to UD students and faculty as an example of effective writing strategies. Click this link to review the Writer's Showcase so that you can guide students and faculty to these pieces when appropriate.
