    Biography

    Bio Janel graduated with a BA in English Literature from Messiah College (PA) in 2004 and worked as a freelance writer and editor through 2012; amongst her publications, she is most proud of her nonfiction collection of essays about pregnancy loss, They Were Still Born: Personal Stories About Stillbirth (Rowman & Littlefield, 2010). In addition to speaking to parent groups and in medical settings, Janel teaches composition and creative nonfiction at UD.
