Gunner Taylor, Teaching Assistant
213 Memorial Hall
Gunner graduated from Southwestern University in the spring of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. He is primarily interested in contemporary American literature, with a focus on the liminal spaces between literature and history. He aims to examine the ways that history is used in fiction, and how fiction and narrative in turn change and shape our ideas about history. He is also interested in the continued influence of postmodernism in contemporary literature and popular culture, and believes that both criticism and teaching can be socially engaged.
