Biography

Jennifer Klima, Ed.D., has been an educator in various capacities for more than 20 years. She began her career as a first-grade teacher and has spent time as a reading specialist, gifted and talented teacher and instructional coach in the K-12 setting. She earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership with a focus on literacy from the University of Delaware and began teaching at the undergraduate and gra​duate level as an adjunct instructor. She has taught several classes at Wilmington University and the University of Delaware, including with UD’s School of Education and the Department of English. In her free time, Dr. Klima enjoys spending time at the beach, playing tennis and reading. She resides in Newark, Delaware, with her husband, two teenage sons, and her yellow lab.​
