    Biography

    ‚ÄčNici Bragg received her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Cornell University. Her research and teaching interests include feminist and gender studies, critical theory, and postcolonial literature. Her dissertation, Creature of Theory: Maternity amongst the Ghosts and Strangers, draws on anecdote and theory to consider maternity's influence on notions of embodied subjectivity. Her work has been published in Cultural Studies Review and the Journal of French and Francophone Philosophy, and she is thrilled to be joining the English Department as a new post-doc in the Composition Program.
