Biography
Brett Seekford, M.A., is a Ph.D. student at the University
of Delaware studying the intersections of identity, performance, and the
black-white color line in twentieth-century American literature. Interested in
theories related to race, gender, performance, and memory, he is currently
researching the connection between identity politics in African American
literature and attempts to reckon with and reimagine the past. He previously
received his B.A. from James Madison University in 2016 and his M.A. from the
University of Delaware.
